Ezeelogin Version 7.48.0 Released — Periodic 2FA Re-Verification for SSH Access

We’re pleased to announce the release of Ezeelogin Version 7.48.0, introducing periodic two-factor authentication (2FA) rechecks to strengthen SSH session security and protect privileged access to remote servers and network devices, including routers and switches.

NEW FEATURE

Periodic 2FA re-verification for servers, routers, and switches — no agent installation required on remote devices

  • Agent less : Recurring 2FA for remote servers and network devices like switches, routers etc.
  • Protect unattended sessions : A session left open on an unlocked workstation can no longer be used indefinitely without a fresh 2FA check.
  • Support compliance requirements: supports periodic re-authentication controls such as NIST SP 800-53 IA-11.
  • Stronger privileged access control: Secure SSH access across the remote servers and network devices.

BEFORE YOU UPGRADE

  • The 2FA recheck feature is available from Ezeelogin version 7.48.0 onwards.
  • Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Upgrade Guide before updating.
  • Take a full backup of your Ezeelogin installation first.
