SSH High Availability Cluster with Real-Time Fail over

Your jump server should never be a single point of failure. Ezeelogin runs a real-time replicated master–slave cluster, so privileged SSH access to your infrastructure keeps working even when a node doesn’t.

Why it matters

Why an SSH Jump Server Needs High Availability

Every SSH connection, credential lookup, and audit log in your infrastructure passes through your jump server. If that one box goes down — hardware failure, network blip, a bad patch — your team loses access to everything behind it, right when they need it most.
How it works

How the High Availability Cluster Works

Ezeelogin’s SSH jump server high availability cluster pairs a primary node with one or more secondary nodes, keeping them in sync so a failure never means a gap in access.

PRIMARY NODE

One node handles the work

The master node manages the database and all read/write operations — logins, permissions, session logs, key management.

REAL-TIME REPLICATION

The standby stays current

Every change replicates to the secondary node continuously. Keep the link under 20ms and it stays fully in step, ready to take over instantly.

PROMOTION

The standby takes over

If the primary becomes unreachable, an admin promotes the secondary node to master — or a load balancer routes traffic there automatically.

What you get

Benefits of a High Availability SSH Gateway

Continuous privileged access

Your team keeps working through a node failure instead of waiting on a fix.

No lost audit data

Session logs and activity records replicate in real time — nothing gets dropped mid-failure.

Load distribution

Spread connections across nodes instead of routing everything through one machine.

Audit-ready uptime

Support the uptime SLA and disaster recovery expectations behind SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI reviews.

High Availability + Privileged Access Management

The cluster doesn’t run in isolation — it protects the same access layer as the rest of Ezeelogin’s privileged access management platform.

High Availability Cluster FAQ

Yes. All the data’s are replicated in real time. In case the primary goes down, you can always the secondary as master.

Because data replicates in real time, the secondary node has current session and permission data. Once it’s promoted to master, users reconnect through it and continue working — no re-provisioning required.

Keep the connection under 20ms. Beyond that, real-time synchronization can slow down the GUI, since data replication happens continuously between nodes.

A cluster is built around a primary and one or more secondary nodes, giving you redundancy beyond a single standby if your environment calls for it.
